The members became unified at the excellent Blue Valley CAPS profesional studies center geared towards getting the students real world experience. Once together, they recognized their vast potential, and aimed it at the iGEM competition.

| - | Our project is the combination of the MIT and University of Texas team’s projects from years past. We are making a combined genetic circuit with the smell of the bacteria (banana or mint) depends on the time of day (presence of light). The light receptor protein is obtained from photosynthetic algae.

| - | The purpose of this problem is to show the integration of two different systems. We took the source of input from one system (light) and matched it with output or another system.

| - | Our project is designing the perfect alarm clock. Our group is doing this by it being biological so it will not need power. The system will produce a wintergreen odor when light is present in the morning to wake you up and help heighten your senses with its strong scent. Then at night when no light is present it will produce a banana odor would help you relax and fall asleep.
