Team Leader Meeting in April

Team Leader meeting on Feb 18th

Next Team Meeting is in Second life. Please make an avatar in Second Life. I will post the address for the meeting. Use the address to tel-port to the location for the meeting. At this meeting we will discuss how we are going to use Second Life for the jamboree. Get your students to develop an avatar. Meeting will be in April, date and time will be announced on this wiki.

Team Leader Meeting February 18th

Team Leader meeting on Feb 18th

Don't miss the Team Leader Meeting February 18th 6pm-8pm EST on Facebook! We will discuss the virtual jamboree, questions about registration and the competition, summer training sessions for synthetic biology, and feedback from this year. Here are some of the questions for the team leader meeting:

1. Feedback on the registration process for the 2012 iGEM HS season.

2. How are you establishing your teams? How are you developing your team project? Do you have any concerns about the competition?

3. Is your team looking at raising the funds to come to the jamboree or is your team wanting to virtually participate in the jamboree?

4. Do you have any questions about the format of the competition? What are your plans for the human practices section? Is your team going to do outreach into your community?

5. What input do you have an the parent consent forms and the school consent forms?

6. Are you interested in summer training for synthetic biology?

iGEM Consent forms

Consent forms for participating in the iGEM 2012 High School competition are available online!

Consent forms are required for all high school participants, including high school students, teachers, advisors, and faculty members (if your team will be using a university laboratory). Each team must also submit a principal consent form.

When all the forms have been completed, send the original hard copy to iGEM Headquarters at:
