We have taken classes before where we learned about lab safety. We were told of any additional instructions and warnings that we must be aware of as we work on the project.

At all times when chemicals were being used:

• Lab coats were on
• Safety goggles were on
• Gloves were worn
• flames were rarely left unattended
• At the end of every day (if bacteria was used) the tables were disinfected and clean off/pick up any chemicals that were left out.
• No Animals, including Kaitlyn's fish and Mr. Kessler's snakes were harmed in our experiments (they have died during the experiment, but not because of us).
• If Tim did work then we double check everything he did because of his past failures.
