Welcome to the 2012 Glacier Peak iGEM wiki!

This year we will be building a heavy metal sensor to detect contamination in the waters of Puget Sound, the large body of water adjoining our Seattle/Tacoma region in Washington State. Please check back here often as we are working furiously to develop our sensor and to engage the community around issues in synthetic biology.
