Who Registers the Team?

The team primary contact must register the team. The primary contact must be a high school teacher or, if the HS students are working at a university, the university faculty member in whose lab the team will work in.

Team Name

  • 30 character limit

Team Application

  • Primary contact
  • School principle
  • Description of resources

Team Roster

  • All team members must have an account and be listed on the team roster -- membership will be pending until consent forms have been received

Team approval

  • Once consent forms have been submitted

Consent Forms

The following forms are required to participate in the iGEM 2012 HS Competition:

  • principle consent form
  • parent / team member consent form

Until the forms are received by iGEM Headquarters, the team is not considered an official iGEM 2012 HS team.
