SecondLife is a program that allows users to interact in a virtual environment! iGEM HS will be using it this year to host a virtual Jamboree in sync with the physical Jamboree in Indianapolis. In preparation for the virtual Jamboree, here is a quick tutorial and some FAQs for SecondLife.
SecondLife requires a separate viewer program, which can be downloaded from their website here.
System requirements
For the best experience, use a wired internet connection. Wireless internet connections can be used, though the viewer program may load more slowly. A cable or DSL connection is recommended.
