Anna Burkatovsky, an aspiring biomedical engineering major, cofounded iGEM at Sharon High School to get to know biotechnology better and to gain some experience in this field. Additionally, she is a part of a robotics team, a math team, and the art club. Her favorite animal is the Turkish Van Cat (it swims!), her favorite book is a tie between Les Misérables and Slaughterhouse-Five (though she is not nearly as political as that may suggest), and her favorite color is #FFF8E7 (Cosmic Latte). Anna spends most of her time trying to physically insert herself into the Internet, though unsuccessfully thus far.
