FreshEcoli

We breathe 10,000 to 20,000 liters of air a day. The olfactory system comes in contact with a different variety and concentration of odors. Certain chemicals that produce odor are potentially harmful and can cause health problems like the Trimethylaminuria. Also called the fish odor syndrome, Trimethylaminuria causes an unpleasent odor which needs to be masked with deodorants and perfumes. Even this is not a solution. Something needs to be done and we aim to do something about it: By transferring the required system to E.coli. On top of that, we will make the bacteria use the products of the removal process to produce fresh perfumes. Thus we can both get rid of a disturbing odor and fill a room with perfume just by using bacteria. This would change the belief of bacteria which are blamed for the disgusting smell in the enviroment.
